Some bloggers have endorsed Kerry's new "W" stands for "wrong" slogan, while others think it needs improvement. Here's what I think:
"W" stands for "wrong,"
Says Kerry on the stump.
But some give "wrong" a gong,
And say it should be dumped.
"W" stands for "wimp,"
Some offer up instead.
They say it suits the Chimp,
Who wouldn't risk limb or head.
"W" stands for "wuss,"
Say those who find "wimp" mild.
Dub's easily nonplused,
For one who once ran wild.
"W" stands for "waffle."
Some find it apropos.
Dub's flip-flops are quite awful,
Big swings from con to pro.
"W" could mean "weak"
Of body, mind, and soul.
Yet when you hear Bush speak,
He'd have you think he's bold.
"W" matters not.
Its meaning's so much din.
Use any word you want.
It just can't stand for "win."
