Dear Diary -- Another awful week! The whole Venezuela thing backfired, & nobody believes Ari when he denies we encouraged a coup. Course that all depends on what the meanin a "coup" is. And "encouraged" is. And "a" is.

And the Mideast is even worse. So far Powell's gettin nowhere, & Sharon's still actin like he doesn't need my money. Plus it looks like Saddam may allow inspections & ruin my excuse fer -- what's that great phrase I got from Mr. Nuance? Oh yeah -- a "regime change."

And speakin a regime change, I hear Gore's tryin ta drum up support ta beat me in 2004. Fat chance!

Dear Diary -- Poppy got a nice honor in Berlin yesterday -- somethin ta do with unification. Of course Laura thinks I should call & congratulate the old man. Except then he'll lecture me again bout blowin Venezuela & the Mideast mess. And I get enuff lectures from so-called world leaders.

While he was pickin up his prize, I was at the VMI, givin a rousin speech bout war & mayhem. The best part was where I talked bout Operation Mountain Goat. And how we've got an Al Qaeda bigwig under lock & key & plan ta give him lots more company.

All in all a pretty good day, if ya don't count Colin comin home empty-handed. And my helecopter breakin down. And Ashy's losin the Oregon suicide doctor case, which has got him real depressed. But not depressed enough ta kill himself -- hahaha. I just hope he doesn't write another song!

Which reminds me -- I think Uncle Jonathan's lost his mind. He's gonna be singin & dancin in some Oklahoma production late this month. And if Ashy doesn't start winnin some cases, I'll make him go.
