Dear Diary -- It's gonna be another big tax cut and budget week. And things are looking real good causa great work by the House Mean Ways Committee.

But it's been a ruff coupla days in the Bush household! Everyones in a tizzy about some liberal media story sayin Jenna was at a drunken frat party. And that someone claimin to be her boyfriend was drunk and arrrested and rescued by Secret Service agents.

Lauras real upset about it -- she says its all my fault on accounta I set a bad example. But I told her everythings okay cause the only photo that can prove she was at the party mysteriously disappeared. I wonder how -- hahaha!!!! Now all we need is a nice juicy story about Chelsea.

Meanwhile Lynne C is on the warpath again about song lyrics.  Shes probly right but thinking about more than one thing at a time hurts my head. So I tried to get her off my back by saying I was too upset to talk about it on acounta the frat party & the drunken boyfriend thing. But Lynne said I should be happy the guy didn't claim to be Jennas girlfriend.  Sometimes Lynne is even more confusing than Dick.

Dear Diary -- I been real busy lately coverin for Dick -- he ended up in the hospital again on acounta his bad ticker. That guy sure has one tuff job!

Anyway I called Monday and told him from now on he's gotta take care of himself and work out a coupla hours every day like I do. He just shook his head & said you keep doing what you do best & I'll keep doing what I do best.

Dicks already outa the hospital which seems awfuly fast to me. So I told him not to rush back to work. But he said I'm comin right back cause I hate leaving you alone in the White House. What an old softie!

I just hope hes well enuff to keep being VEEP. A lotta people are naggin me to think of potensial predecessors just in case.

Dear Diary -- I just have time for a quickie today. Quickie -- good one -- hahaha!

Things are much better now that Dicks back -- he gives great eye and hand signals during important meetings.

And I gotta real nice call from the gun guys -- they liked what I said about the California school shooting. They said it was real inspiring and causa me they may even change their slogan to Guns dont kill people. Cowardly kids who aren't taught values and right from wrong kill people.

Dear Diary -- Its been a pretty good week except for Dick getting sick. Wait --there was another bad thing. Now I remember -- word leeked out about Poppy pardoning the son of one of his campaign & library doners. Boy is Poppy P-Oed!!

When he calmed down Poppy told me one day I'll have a library of my own for important papers -- like this diary I guess. Then Jeb said yeah a real small library. But Poppy told Jeb to shush up and be patient -- your time will come real soon. I wonder what he meant by that.

Aside from that everyones in a great mood about tax cuts plus something to do with Congress and ergonomics. I asked Dick what ergonomics is and he said it's Latin economics. I'm pretty sure he was kidding.
