Trump lies, as he brags to our nation
That he’s gotten complete vindication

While some staffers exhort:
Don’t distort please, in worried frustration.

Poor Donald is feeling harassed;
All he’s done in his crime-laden past
And as president’s being
Examined. We’re seeing
The House do its job at long last.
Trump keeps tying our nation in knots,
And it’s time to connect all the dots:
He inflicts all this hurt
To distract and divert
Because Putin is calling the shots.
“Guilty” Manafort ain’t going free,
And Cohen has taken a plea.
So brace for more tweets
Packed with self-serving bleats;
Whiny Trump can’t let anything be.

When the Russia probe shit hits the fan,
The fallout won’t land on McGahn.
No he won’t take the fall;
He’s been giving his all
To assisting Bob Mueller. Smart man!
Donald’s lawyer is rather a cut up,
Saying Mueller should “put up or shut up.”
While Rudy tells lies and lets loose,
Mueller quietly tightens the noose.

‘Twas a Russian attack,
so soft-ped’ling it’s whack.
On Twitter, Trump’s plaintive today.
To prepare for tomorrow? No way!
It’s not war dead he mourns,
But a “witch hunt” he scorns —
Selfish, petulant Trump on display!
Very early in my legal career, I worked for a law firm that represented Trump’s father’s real estate company. Consequently, I had some dealings with the Donald. Hence this limerick:
It’s hard for the Donald to hire
A lawyer; his plight’s become dire.
In fact, things are so bad
That he tweeted me: “Mad,
Please come back. Get me out of my mire.”
The Donald’s a dreadful employer
And a volatile stature-destroyer.
His “art of the deal”
Is to lie, backbite, steal,
Which is why he can’t buy a good lawyer.
Trump’s lawyers are frequently nayed
And their Mueller advice disobeyed.
Donald’s gut rules his mind,
So John Dowd has resigned.
I wish the man luck getting paid!
Dear Republicans: Jabber is cheap,
And it won’t force the Donald to keep
Mueller’s Russia probe going.
The danger is growing.
You’re emboldening Trump and his Veep.
