When a bill is a fait accompli,
Trump the “deal-maker” bitches with glee.
He won’t help something pass;
He’d much rather harass
Other pols, in a bill-griping spree.
Donald COULD have helped carve out a deal
For Covid Relief. But that heel
Sent Mnuchin to rep him,
And now would sidestep him;
A bit late for such “squeaky wheel” zeal!
I didn’t know Sen. Schumer had such a flair for sarcasm. Check out his tweet:

@realDonaldTrump has announced that he has cut a deal to “greatly reduce, or eliminate, Illegal Immigration coming from Mexico and into the United States.”
Now that that problem is solved, I’m sure we won’t be hearing any more about it in the future.

So his base will think failures are steals.
The self-described deal-maker fails
To close deals. Donald’s thwarted? He bails.
Nancy ties him in knots,
And whenever he spots
Her he’ll plotz, as his orange skin pales.

Ran for prez and then bragged on the stump:

Many learned way too late
That at deal-making, Donald’s a chump.
