There are folks quite averse to my verse.
In their emails, perverse, how they curse!
But I never will fret
Over hate mail I get:

I’m having a hard time understanding why you would get hate mail.
Yes, much of what you do is pointed, but it isn’t mean-spirited. You go for the laugh, not the jugular. You are making fun of what people do, not who they are.
These people are in serious need of a humor transplant.
