Limerick Ode To Paul Ryan
While listening to Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R – WI) State of the Union rebuttal, I realized that he has a certain charm. And that makes him unusually dangerous. Because though his Roadmap for America would be a disaster for this country, his personality could fool people into thinking it’s just what we need.
And that brings me to my latest limerick:
Limerick Ode to Paul Ryan

I hope that few voters are buyin’
The proposals from Congressman Ryan.
They’re extreme to their core:
Screw the middle class, poor,
And the sick and would cause lots of dyin’.

But what do you take me for, a real sap?
Your views are too extreme
Way to the right it would seem,
If I could reach out and touch ya, I’d give you a good slap.
DISCLAIMER: In this age of vitriol gone violent. Please do not take this limerick as in any way, shape, or form, a threat upon the good congressman. Rather, slap was the only thing I could think of that rhymed with map and sap.

Why does Paul Ryan remind me of Eddie Munster?
Unfortunately, dearie, he was elected in my district. How embarrassing is that?
