Trepidatious Times (Limerick)

How I long to at last feel elation.
But for now, all I feel’s trepidation.
I’ll be filled with chagrin,
If Joe doesn’t win;
What we’ll face is our nation’s ruination.

    I’m a product of natural selection
    so confident of my re-election.
    Plus, the women all dote
    and the thought that they’ll vote
    for me, helps me get an erection.

    I give all these women a mention
    – disrespecting is not my intention.
    Whenever they pass
    I’ll just grab their ass
    ‘cos they love me and crave my attention.
