Poor Donald’s a “martyr.” Boo-hoo!
(That’s the Donald’s self-pitying view.)
He bitches and moans
And wallows in groans,
Cheered on by his base — “victims” too.
The news has unfolded so fast,
That I’m dizzy; both pleased and aghast.
Do I fin’ly dare think
That we’re poised on the brink
Of dispensing with Donald at last?
Trump’s a knave who has gone way too far.
(So too, has his pal AG Barr.)
An impeachment is nigh.
There’s no choice, and here’s why:
Trump behaves like a tyrant and czar.
Headline: “What Happens if Trump Won’t Step Down?”
People fret: “What if Donald Trump loses,
And when told to step down, he refuses?”
No prob! End of term,
Dump that blood-sucking worm
At any Trump golf course he chooses.
Headline: “Analysis: Storm spat underscores Mr. Never Wrong’s mindset”
Trump admit a mistake? No not ever!
He must keep his base thinking he’s clever;
So though facts may be clear,
Donald never will veer
From his “THEY’RE wrong! I’m perfect!” endeavor.
Headline: “Trump may have broken federal law by altering Hurricane Dorian’s path on a map to validate his false claim that it could hit Alabama”
Donald Trump can’t concede a mistake.
He prefers to tell lies or to fake
“Proof” that shows he’s correct;
Alt’ring docs to deflect
Any blame. What a cowardly snake!
Headline: “A very annoyed Mitch McConnell would like everyone to stop calling him ‘Moscow Mitch'”
When the name “Moscow Mitch” is deployed,
Mitch McConnell is vexed and annoyed:
It’s “not fair” — not a keeper.
(He’s fine with “Grim Reaper.”)
Where his conscience should be, there’s a void.
The Donald is twitter-obsessing,
And his topic this times’s Debra Messing.
But his story won’t sell;
Used his “called me “Sir” tell.
Trump feels threatened by Debra, I’m guessing.
