  1. Political storms always seem to be locked into an endless cycle. No seasonal relief!

  2. truer words were never “spoke”!

  3. WabiSabi says:

Oh, if only this haiku weren’t true!! The blah, blah, blah is enough to make me want to give up listening to it. Oh, wait I think I will.

  4. Sabio Lantz says:

May it never end! Dominance of one voice is deadening!

Well, it has 5-7-5, but not much else of a Haiku. Definitely a Senryū ! A good one.

Short and sweet — love the short and sweet.

  5. Mauigirl says:

    Isn’t that the truth!

  6. Mauigirl says:

Sabio, interesting, I didn’t realize there was such a thing as a Senryū! (I just looked up the difference!) I think we need a whole new category that is political!

Thanks so much, everyone for your lovely comments.

And yes Sabio I agree that calling it senryu would be far more accurate. My problem is that whenever I reference senryu, most people have no idea what I’m talking about. :)

  8. political storms seem to have no end. no relief here.
