Limerick Ode To Mark Halperin

By now you surely know that MSNBC has suspended its senior political analyst Mark Halperin for calling President Obama “a dick” on Joe Scarborough’s Morning Joe. (Halperin, who is also an editor-at large for Time) usually does a better job of hiding his pro-Republican bias.)

I always suspected that Mark
Had a bias unspeakably stark.
Well he gave it away
In a dickish display.
With his epithet, Mark jumped the shark.

    Ol’ Halpy may soon disembark,
    the network for causing this spark.
    On the lighter side though,
    for all that we know,
    Obama might call his dick ‘Mark.’

    Might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb.

    I may be as dumb as a stick,
    but when Halperin called Barack a ‘dick,
    I thought it tame.
    But he gets all the blame:
    he might as well’ve used the word ‘prick’.
