Agency Ode
By Madeleine Begun Kane
There once was an agent, quite tough,
Who cut all his deals in the buff.
When his clients asked why,
He would give this reply:
“When I’m nude, no one dares give me guff.”
Feel free to write your own limerick using the same first line and post it in my comments. And if you’re on Facebook, please join my friends in that same activity in my limerick-offs.

There once was an agent, quite tough,
Who tended to do silly stuff.
He worked in the nude,
And wasn’t a prude.
Till clients told him it’s enough.
There once was an agent, quite tough.
Who said my work’s not good enough.
Proved him to be wrong,
wrote a number one song.
Now he wishes he wasn’t so gruff.
There once was an agent, quite tough
He could bargain and flim flam and bluff
Till T.O. he repped
Who to Buffalo sclepped
Caused the agent to leave in a huff
There once was an agent, quite tough.
Fifteen percent wasn’t enough.
He pushed for more work, behaved like a jerk,
“Til his clients said, “You, I rebuff!”
There once was an agent quite tough
Who loved to wear fuzzy handcuffs.
He wore high heels
For sex appeall
Until his bartender said, “You’ve had enough.”
