Limerick Ode To Voicemail

Limerick Ode To Voicemail
By Madeleine Begun Kane

Dear voicemail, I love and adore you.
And I’m puzzled by those who deplore you.
Oh, the charm of your voices
And all of those choices.
Wait, I’m lying — I really abhor you.

Mad, I love coming here….your limericks are wonderful and always put a smile on my face. This was no exception. :)

  5. Mad, I agree, love to smile and always know I’ll find a grin here. As for voice mail, si quieres hablar en Espanol, emprese uno.

Nice! Voicemail can be quite a double bind. It’s good to know why people were calling in the first place but I have to force myself to leave a message.

Thanks, Amanda. I’ve felt that way too.
