Befuddled Limerick

A fellow was feeling befuddled
Cuz he yearned for one thing — to be cuddled.
But he only got quickies
Or sometimes mere hickeys.
It appears that his message was muddled.

    Ha ha Madeleine, just got your note about not being able to find a use for ‘huddled,’ and that word had come to mind for me as well. Couldn’t pry it away from the Statue of Liberty quotation. The word is officially useless in my lexicon now!!

    Also, thought about ‘scuttled,’ but that’s not an exact rhyme… until the first three pints are put away, that is! Amy

    If he got quckies and hickeys when he all wanted were cuddles, then I’d say he made out pretty good. Nice rhyme.
