It’s Raining Acrostic Limericks
Rather wet is the weather today.
Also terribly gloomy, I’d say.
It’s so nasty, I’m glad
Not to need something bad.
You can bet from my house I won’t stray.

Soon sunshine will come on display
Unblocking those clouds in the way
No need to feel stuck
Nor walk through the muck
You can then scamper outside and play!
My first acrostic (thanks for the idea, Madsy!)
But my left brain won’t let my right brain figure out how to make the first letter of each line in boldface type… guess that makes me a lamebrain, sheesh!
Note from Mad Kane: Nice job on the acrostic! I bolded those letters for you. The trick is to highlight the letter you want bolded and then click on the b (right above the box you’re writing in, on the far left side.) You have to highlight one letter at a time.
Thanks for the help and the tip! I’m wondering if we have different computers, because there’s no b, not above the box I’m writing in, nor on the far left side, nor anywhere else, even after I highlight a letter. See, I told you I was a lamebrain! Don’t worry about it; I’ll find some patient kind-hearted geek to help me.
From Mad Kane: Hmmm, perhaps it’s only visible to me as the website owner.
Just have a geek friend show you how to do bold tags. It’s easy, but I can’t show you here, because when I do, it turns bold, which prevents you from seeing the underlying code.
It’s illustrated on this page: HTML
Thanks so much! (and sorry for the burden)
