Lumbering Limerick

As if largely encumbered by slumber,
Lost his CPA job;
Said his boss, “Sorry Bob,
But our clients, alas, have your number.”

    I often find I have to loudly sigh,
    When my girlfriend is not nigh,
    And when she wants me to fly,
    To Paris a dress to buy,
    At a price that’s sadly for me too high!

    The accountant couldn’t have been dumber,
    Nor was he in the least humbler,
    He’d paint in shades of umber,
    And he did badly encumber
    His work by simultaneously eat cucumber!
