Limerick Ode To Mourn For Your Money Day

Limerick Ode To Mourn For Your Money Day

Our money has vanished, alas.
Its value each day
Seems to shrink, as we pay
For the sins of the greedy top brass.

Alas, Dahling, my money is not around long enough for me to mourn it’s loss.

As the old saying goes, there’s one thing money can’t buy–poverty! Keep making me laugh, Mad–I need it. ;_)
Wow, this is right on target! Very claver too.
where your treasure is, there your heart will be also…

Very witty! This form of poetry amazes me
Satire at its best!
You do this better than anyone else I know. I always enjoy reading your poetic limericks.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.
Too true, and too funny both. Well, funny in a sad way. Thanks, Madeleine. k.
The story of history – the greedy top brass. Nice one.
