NOT Hailing This Storm (Limerick)
NOT Hailing This Storm (Limerick)
By Madeleine Begun Kane
A blizzard’s upon us. I’m worried,
Cuz in over a foot we’ll be buried.
The prelude is hail,
Then snow by the bale.
If only our snow flakes just flurried.

Nice! Snow by the bale, eh? Bale makes me think of hay bales I used to heft on The Farm.
Down here in Austin it’s raining
while somewhere somebody’s champagning.
I swear it’s not me.
I’m drinking coffee.
And about to continue your Painting.
(as in your sidebar button…) :) Should be up today, my photoshop willing.

Fun verse, Jannie!
That last line is marvelous.
Thanks, Doug!
