And her beautiful voice. What a bummer!
She was Hot Stuff, the Queen
Of a musical scene,
Who’s Last Danced to her own disco drummer.

    Excellent limerick. Donna would probably appreciate the rhythm of it. I admire anyone who can write a good limerick because I find it exceedingly difficult. Very well done!

    Hi Mad, I’m a big fan! Love the last line of the Donna Summer limerick — genius! Have written a humorous music post for my company, Think Big Online (we’re in Sydney). Spotify Playlist Humor. No limericks but music playlists for divorce lawyers (Sisters are Doing it for Themselves) and other companies. It’s not poetic but it is humorous. Cheers, April
