Yet Another Limerick Ode To My Husband Mark Kane
Yet Another Limerick Ode To My Husband Mark Kane
By Madeleine Begun Kane
Oh, what have I done to my Mark:
Taught him limerick writing, and hark!
Now he’ll draft something new,
Then lug laptop to loo —
I can’t hide from his poetry arc.
(Note from Mad Kane: I’m really not making this up. On Sunday, Mark followed me into the bathroom, carrying his laptop. That’s how eager he was to show me his latest limerick.)

ha. you bit him with the bug….that is pretty cool…errr, just not in the bathroom…smiles.
that’s funny!
My partner unexpectedly asked me yesterday for advice on writing haiku! I was stunned! He’s never before been interested
Ahahaha, that makes me truly LOL (not just lol’g for lack of another response as I usually use it)! At least you know he’s interested in the same things as you still!
How funny!
Too funny! Got to love being excited about poetry, wherever it leads you. :-)
The love of limericks and the love of a poet! :) May no doors ever divide them….knickers is another story! lol
That is too funny!
I think it’s sweet :)
Sometimes our actions come back to bite us in the butt. Funny!
Now you’ve even got me doing my own themes for limericks! Anyway, I gave you the full blame … er, I mean, credit!
Very funny rhyme, Mad!!!!
Husbands–can’t live without them, can’t leave them by the side of the road, or however that goes…all this proves a limerick is a very dangerous thing.
You have me laughing! Gotta love a dedicated fella for sure. :)
Well, that’s kind of wonderful. k.
Love it – limerick writing can follow us anywhere! Good for you both.
Thanks so much everyone. I enjoyed your comments.
Good one, Mad. Hoping my husband does not follow suit.
