Limerick Ode To Google+
Limerick Ode To Google+
By Madeleine Begun Kane
Would-be early adopters are pining.
For Google-Plus entry they’re whining.
Invitees get to brag:
“I got in, while you lag.”
A great come-on of Google’s designing.
(You can find me on GooglePlus here. And you always find my Google+ link on my right sidebar a bit below my photo.)

Yes! And I got an early invite already! Er.. is Facebook dead? so many others have tied and failed, but this is big… great Limerick
Thanks, Luke.! The Facebook and Google+ services are very similar. I think that for a year or so a lot of people will use both. Then at some point, a good number of people will start abandoning Facebook. It will be interesting to see.
Once enough of my limerick and poet pals are on Google+ I’ll probably run my Limerick-Offs there too, but will keep running them on FB and on my blog.
HI Madeleine,
Do keep your FB limerick connection on. It may take me a little while to join you in Google+ . I am the two million forty seven thousand nine hundred and twenty-seventh one in the queue waiting for an entry… So probably for my sixtieth birthday, I’ll be able to join you ( as atreat from Google)… Till then I shall haunt your blog!
;-)
What’s all this fuss
about Google Plus
it’s just one more way
to chat thru the day
with Lonnie, Mary and Russ
nice limerick does Google+ has a game like Frontierville?????? That’s a reason to leave Facebook ;-))
Nice Limerick! I haven’t checked out Google+ yet, though I believe I have an invite somewhere… :)
I got that invite. From what I can tell, Google+ is Facebook that lets you compartmentalize your non-life into degrees of unrealness.
Thanks everyone for your kind words, fun comments, and verse.
By the way, so far there aren’t any games over at Google+. But I’m betting that will change. :)
