Limerick Ode To a Vigorous Old Lady
Limerick Ode To A Vigorous Old Lady
By Madeleine Begun Kane
An old grandma with spring in her walk
Moved so quickly that people would gawk.
When asked if a gym
Was the source of her vim
She said, “No — Jim, Kim, Henry and Hawk.”

I love this…maybe because I consider myself to be a vigorous old lady. It doesn’t get better than this! Thanks for linking to the Monday prompt, Mad.
Enjoyed your “about!” Recovering NY lawyer!!!
Loud Limerick
Written while waiting for the taxi before going on a cruise! I definitely have a spring in my step today!
Great fun limerick, but this old lady moves slower and slower, despite the spring in the air.
Thanks so much for your comments everyone. And Rinkly, I hope you have a great cruise!
