Ode To The Weatherman
A huge snow storm (perhaps even a blizzard) is about to descend on New York City and has already hit much of the east coast. And that means it’s the weatherman’s time in the sun:
Ode To The Weatherman (Limerick)

The weatherman’s acting excited:
New York City’s about to be smited
With a snow storm real big,
Which I really don’t dig.
And just why must he look so delighted?
(Note: Yes, I know that the past tense of smite is smote. Artistic license, okay?)
UPDATE: I’ve just learned that today (February 5th) is National Weatherperson’s Day, observed on the birthday of John Jeffries.

This storm sucked big time. Oh well, only four more months of it!
Happy Holidays!!
OK… now let’s see that license. No funny business, um, I mean…
I’ve moved my blog to the URL in this comment post. HaloScan held a gun to my head and said “pay us… within TWO WEEKS… or we kill your comments.” I said the obvious response… show me exactly how you can do that. After a couple of days’ thought I moved to a completely new blog. It’s still named the Yellow Something Something, but many other things are different.
I hope your holidays are going well, Mad!
Thanks One Of The Guys and Steve. And Steve, so sorry you had to move your blog. But I’ll certainly update your link.
