A woman was feeling depressed.
(Her syndrome is called “empty nest.”)
Her home was too calm.
She missed being a mom—
Though her spouse “helped” by being a pest.

As she went about getting undressed
Her somewhat rude hubby
Said “Gosh, you look chubby!”
She dispatched him to perpetual rest…

And her tresses are now just distressed.
