Not-So-Stylish Limerick
Not-So-Stylish Limerick
By Madeleine Begun Kane
I’ll admit that I’m not into clothes.
And I don’t follow style, heaven knows.
My apparel’s so old
It’s back “in”— so I’m told.
I’m half-tempted to strike up a pose.

Love this Mad! It sounds too like my wardrobe though..
Yes! True for me, too. As I go shopping with my girls, I’ll sometimes say, “Those colors were popular in the 1970s,” or something similar. I saw a short, boxy (uncomfortable) jacket at Old Navy the other day that looks 1950s!
Of course, I love hearing about it in limerick. :)
