Two Haiku
When prompted to use the words curious, eventually, and shower in a poem, this haiku more or less wrote itself:
I am curious:
Will you eventually
Shower? I hope so.
And here’s another haiku, this one inspired by an earth-themed prompt:
There’s no earthly way
I’d ever vote for global
Warming deniers.

Simply brilliant!
These are fun and intelligent and witty! God bless you in the new year.
It’s always kind of scary when you have to wonder if someone is going to shower :)
well this recently showered ever doubting soul just wants to wish you a happy new year !!!!!!
Nice haiku I liked it alot
Thanks very much everyone!
These two haikus gave me a nice grin; thanks! I do plan to shower in the next couple of hours.
The first haiku is powerful ~ a self talk that paints a nice unfinished imagery in the mind of someone looking up the skies, palms open questioning and hoping. The reader in the end gives the complete picture.
I saw it rained.
I wish you well.

Thanks SlyGly! And Jecques, I really like your interpretation!
