Weathering New York Weather (Limerick)
Weathering New York Weather
By Madeleine Begun Kane
The weather outside isn’t nice,
And the walks are all covered with ice.
I seem to recall
That it’s technic’ly fall.
Would I leave New York City? No dice!

I really enjoyed your limerick. From nanook to your north.
Thanks!
Way to go Kane! I really enjoyed finally visiting NYC a couple of years ago. I don’t know if a suburbanite like me could handle the hustle and bustle, and the cost of living (though it’s extremely expensive out my way as well), but I would like to visit again, and check out the art. Here’s to your footing and staying warm.
Thanks, Steve. Yeah, New York City living does have its share of aggravations, but you put up with the bad to enjoy the good — it’s well worth it.
Love your limeric :) The only ice here today in Australia is in my cold drink….Summer is certainly here and it is HOT!!
Thanks, Bee!
